What's New

Keep up with every app update

v1.8.1 Oct 28, 2026

Follow the ISS on the map and stay informed when the live feed is cut.

NEW

Follow the ISS on the map

The ISS and your position now have their own icon on the map. Tap one of them and the map follows it.

NEW

Live signal cuts

When NASA interrupts the video, the app lets you know instead of showing a frozen image, and the live feed resumes as soon as the signal is back.

v1.7.2 Oct 22, 2026

A maintenance update that restores the ISS live video feed.

FIXED

Live video feed restored

Following a change on NASA's side, the ISS 1 live stream was no longer available. It has now been restored.

v1.7.1 Oct 20, 2026

A quick fix for asteroid hunters: your discovery cards open reliably again.

FIXED

Asteroid cards open again

The first asteroid scanned after updating to 1.7.0 could close the app when its card opened. That card now opens normally, and your catalogue is kept.

v1.7.0 Oct 17, 2026

Become an asteroid hunter: scan unknown objects on the radar, collect asteroid cards and build your own catalogue.

NEW

Asteroid radar

Unknown objects now appear on the asteroid radar. Tap one to scan it and find out what you discovered. Scans take longer as your catalogue grows.

NEW

Asteroid cards

Each discovery gets a card with its rarity, from COMMON to LEGENDARY. Its size is shown next to familiar landmarks, its distance on an Earth–Sun line and its speed as a Paris → New York trip, along with its orbit family.

NEW

Your asteroid catalogue

A new ASTEROIDS tab in the Logbook lists every discovery, rarest first, with your records: largest, closest, fastest. A notification tells you when a scan is complete (it has its own setting). Hazardous-asteroid badges now count the asteroids you scan, and badges you already earned are kept.

Receive your crew cards

Each crew movement now waits for you in the module. Tap Receive card to decode it. Decoding takes longer as your collection grows, up to 4 h.

FIXED

More reliable alerts

Background notifications are scheduled more reliably, the ISS live stream is closer to real time (30 s) and the onboarding layout is fixed.
